Windows Terminal

Windows Terminal is a new Windows command-line application from Microsoft which supports traditional Windows shells like cmd and PowerShell in addition to WSL Linux shells (bash, sh,..).

Windows Terminal is the preferred way to use WSL.

Installation

Install the Windows Terminal application, which replaces the old "cmd" and supports Linux shells, in addition to the Windows PowerShell and Command.

Just follow the Microsft guide to install the Windows Terminal application.
